Do I need to enter my seed phrase to backup?
No. You never share your seed phrase with anyone. You don't even need to type it in to back it up. You
are the only one who has access to your seed phrase. You (and your chosen beneficiaries) are the only
ones who can recover your crypto wallet.
Is FreezeSeeds a self-custody solution?
Yes, you hold your seed phrase backup at all times. You are the master of your own security. We just
provide you the tools to do it.
Is this a techy nerdy thing? I don't have time for anything complicated.
Absolutely not - it's a push-button process. If you can copy and paste and save files into folders,

Can I use FreezeSeeds to backup private keys, like cold wallets?
No. FreezeSeeds is specifically designed to backup BIP39 seed phrases. It's not designed to backup
private keys. It's a different process and a different security model. You can use FreezeKeys.com for that purpose.
Which wallets are supported?
FreezeSeeds is compatable with any crypto wallet that uses the BIP39 seed phrase format, which is pretty
much all of them (with the exception of the Trezor Model T which uses SLIP39 or Shamir
Backup.)
